Teachers Take Over

At school we are currently working on an art project.
Basically someone has bought a house on the street behind my school and they have decided to make it into an open house art gallery where people can buy and sell artwork. We have luckily been able to get involved in this and so everyone in my school is making a piece of artwork on a
proper canvas. It's not actually that big, about half the size of an A4 piece of paper, but still, we dont get to use real canvas's very often.
Anyway, I had this idea of making a picture of woods on fire with the silhouette of animals escaping etc. Then my teacher, Mrs. Walker, took over. She told me to do this and that, and in the end she even took the chalks from me and started scribbling all over my work.
She did this to everyone. My friend, in another class, said that I wasn't brave enough to tell her to get off. Kaya, my friend, told me that she wold have actually reached out and moved Mrs. Walker's hand away.
People have told me that when things like this happen I should complain, or stand up for myself etc., but I dont. I can't. Mrs.Walker would give me detention.
